Food loving chefs who excel in cooking classic flavours with a modern twist, Stephen, Alex and Thomas have formed SALT Kitchen, having recently met on BBC Ones’ MasterChef 2019. Stephen is renowned for his bold flavours; Thomas for his adventurous flair; and Alex for being the Queen of Puddings. Together this dynamic threesome combine to deliver a truly fantastic food experience.

Stephen’s Bio

Family man Stephen is married and has 5 children. He can often be found in the kitchen trying out new food combinations with his kids. This is because he will always get an honest opinion from them!
A keen musician, singer and songwriter, if he’s not in the kitchen, Stephen can be found behind a guitar or at the piano exercising his vocal chords.

By day Stephen runs a busy team of analysts for Sedgwick – a large global company, but by night he’s either at the stove or in front of a microphone!

Stephen loves to use the spices of Asia in combination with the best and freshest of home grown produce. He believes that striving to always use seasonal and sustainable produce is at the heart of great tasting food. Stephen loved his experience in the MasterChef kitchen departing in Knockout Semi-Finals week.
